Assistant Project Manager | Houston, TX

  • Assists Project Managers with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. The role is responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, maintaining schedules and budgets. The essential duties and functions of this position include, but are not limited to, project financial responsibilities, preconstruction services, project initiation and administration, client relations and development surrounding company culture, leadership and employees.

Preconstruction Manager | Houston, TX

  • The Preconstruction Manager reports directly to the Vice President and is responsible for leading and managing all preconstruction aspects of assigned projects to include construction estimating, cost management, vendor contacts, design quality control, proposal writing, and budgeting. The role involves working closely with the project teams in exceeding client expectations while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The Preconstruction Manager is expected to develop and maintain a visible and positive leadership role with customers, vendors and within the Operations group by thinking beyond day-to-day preconstruction realities and nurturing the customer relationship for future growth. This position ensures proper stewardship for the overall preconstruction integrity of the project through interaction and collaboration with other company disciplines to establish best practice processes.

Superintendent (Travel) |

  • This position will include all responsibilities listed and pertain specifically to a ~20 Week Project located in Austin, TX.
    The Superintendent takes complete and full field responsibility for the on-site management, construction, safety, scheduling, quality, completion and close out of project.  Acts as a liaison to all parties involved in the project, including the owner, client, trade partners, architect, engineers, facilities staff, building management, etc.  Identify scope and initiates pricing on revisions and changes (Coordinated through Project Manager).  Maintains and enforces Gallant Builders safety standards and policies.  More experienced Superintendents may also manage and oversee multiple projects and/or multiple Superintendents.  In addition, will identify and negotiate conflict resolution issues with owners, architects, engineers and trade partners.

Intern | Houston, TX

  • The purpose of the Gallant Internship program is to provide an interesting, challenging and rewarding experience for students pursuing a career in Construction Management, Engineering or related field. Selected students will partner with company leaders to understand business needs and how efforts are aligned to support short- and long-term projects and company objectives.

Gallant works closely with many outreach organizations to help teach, train, sponsor and provide opportunities to community members in the construction trades. We partner with Houston city colleges and high schools to supplement classroom learning with hands-on opportunities. 

We provide full-time employment with an hourly wage and full benefits to students taking courses toward a college degree. This allows students of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds to gain experience early in their career and create the foundation to be succesful in the construction industry.
